Grupa LOTOS and the Polish Football Association have signed a contract under which the Company will remain the Main Sponsor of the Polish National Football Team, but will also join a number of other projects to support what is clearly the single most popular spectator sport among Polish fans.
Grupa LOTOS S.A. has signed a forward contract for the supply of US crude oil to its Gdańsk refinery. Under the contract, at least five cargoes of oil will be delivered by sea in 2018.
LOTOS purchased another cargo of US oil. A tanker carrying 650,000 barrels (i.e. about 80,000 tonnes) of US WTI Midland crude is on its way to Naftoport in Gdańsk. The transaction is in line with LOTOS’s consistently pursued strategy for diversification of supply sources. All decisions to purchase crude oil are taken on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the technological and economic effectiveness. At present, every fifth barrel of oil processed by the Grupa LOTOS Gdańsk refinery is imported from sources other than markets east of Poland.
St. Helen, a tanker vessel carrying 600 thousand barrels (approximately 80 thousand tonnes) of Domestic Sweet (DSW) crude oil from the US, arrived this morning at the Gdańsk Naftoport. This is another purchase made by LOTOS, but the first ever imported from the US as part of the Company’s consistently implemented strategy to diversify feedstock supply sources.
Q3 2017 saw further significant improvement in LOTOS’ operating and financial performance. The Company increased revenue and profits, while considerably lowering its debt. It is consistently pursuing the safe and sustainable growth strategy for 2017−2022 by taking further steps, such as diversification of feedstock supply sources and implementation of innovative projects, including research on second- and third-generation biofuels, hydrogen technologies and electric mobility. In September 2017, LOTOS declared that it would build 12 electric vehicle charging points at its stations on the Gdańsk – Warsaw route. Like other innovative projects, the investment was co-funded by the EU.
LOTOS is set to build 12 electric vehicle charging stations, enabling electric cars to travel from Gdańsk and Gdynia to Warsaw and back. A smartphone app will help motorists find the charging points and check prices.
In the first half of 2017, LOTOS generated a consolidated LIFO-based EBITDA of approximately PLN 1,372m (up 26% year on year, net of one-off items) and a consolidated net profit of approximately PLN 568m, up 71% year on year.
The Management Board of Grupa LOTOS S.A. announces that on June 14th 2016, Grupa LOTOS S.A.’s Annual General Meeting passed a resolution on allocation of the Company’s 2016 profit. In particular, the Meeting resolved to distribute PLN 184,873,362.00 as dividend to the shareholders.
Twenty-five years have passed since production was launched at the B3 field on the Polish Baltic Sea, and the Tarnobrzeg tanker reached the Northern Port of Gdańsk with the first delivery of Petrobaltic’s crude oil from the field.

The list features Poland’s largest companies, ranked according to the quality of their management of corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities. The results of this year’s ranking were officially announced during the European Economic Congress that took place on 11 May in Katowice.
Today, the Management Board of Grupa LOTOS S.A. has passed a resolution on proposed distribution of the Company’s net profit for 2016, allocating PLN 184,873,362 to payment of dividend. This means that the proposed gross dividend per share is PLN 1.
Between May 9th and May 12th 2017, the Transport Logistic trade fair will be held in Munich. The event will be attended by over 2,000 exhibitors from across the globe. This year, the participants will include LOTOS Kolej – the most technologically advanced rail carrier in Poland, now successfully expanding its business in Germany.
